Hi, I’m Jess.

I help people feel better and become the best version of themselves.

My Approach

Witness

In our therapeutic journey together, I see myself as a compassionate witness to your unique path. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you feel free to explore and share your thoughts and feelings.

I believe that each person's experience is valid and deserves to be heard with empathy and respect.

Collaborative

I’m passionate about fostering a space where we can collaborate openly and effectively, and I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey with understanding and care.

"She’s a great listener that remains open-minded and free of judgement. She’s great at challenging me and giving suggestions from multiple views. I can’t say enough good things about her. I’ve already referred a friend to her. I wish I would’ve had her years ago."

"Jess was always so helpful in helping me navigate my issues and giving me tools and resources no matter the problem."

What Clients are Saying

"She is great at being personable and understanding. As well as remembering information and being able to connect that to other experiences which helped me see the bigger picture."

FAQ

  • Going to a therapist or counselor for the first time can be daunting. The first appointment helps you get comfortable with the person you’ll work with. Trust is essential when sharing your story. The therapist will ask about your background and current challenges. By the end, you’ll create a treatment plan that acts like a guide for future sessions. Follow-up appointments usually start with a quick check-in about your mood. Some clients bring topics to discuss, while others let the therapist lead the conversation.

  • Timelines depend on the needs of the individual client. Usually clients will meet weekly at first, and then bi-weekly. Some clients meet once monthly to continue to check-in and maintain progress made during initial stages of treatment.

  • Self-pay is an option, but the most economical approach is to work with a therapist that is considered in-network with your health insurance company.  I am in-network with the following health insurance companies.  Please see your specific policy/plan to get more information about mental health coverage, deductibles, co-pay amounts, and co-insurance.
